Yasmine  Missaoui

Yasmine began her training in performing arts with the Billie Barry Stage School under the direction of Lorraine Barry from the age of 5. She studied drama with the National Performing Arts School from the age of 7 and attended the Irish Film Academy studying Acting for Screen.

Yasmine has trained vocally with Waltons New School of Music under the guidance of Sinéad Flynn and received a Distinction in her Music Theatre Performance Diploma from the University of West London.

Yasmine has performed many roles in prestigious venues including the Project Arts Theatre, the Gaiety Theatre, the National Concert Hall, the Olympia Theatre and the Royal Albert Hall, London.

Over the years Yasmine has played leading roles such as Maria in West Side Story (O'Reilly Theatre 2010), Wendla in the Irish premiere of Spring Awakening (The Helix 2011), Mimi in RENT (Aula Maximus 2012), Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof (The National Concert Hall 2016), Sally Smith in Me and My Girl (The National Concert Hall 2017), Amanda in the world premiere of SCAM the Musical (Civic Theatre 2018), Eva Peron in Evita (Portmarnock MDS 2016 & Teachers’ MS 2019), Consuela in the staged concert production of West Side Story at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre (2021) and Morticia Addams in The Addams Family (Malahide MDS, 2021).

Yasmine is currently rehearsing for the Irish Premiere of Cry-Baby the Musical with Malahide MDS in which she will play the part of Lenora Frigid.

Yasmine is so excited to be a part of Gatsby The Musical and to originate the role of Jordan. She wishes everyone involved the very best of luck!
